An excellent strategy but rather outside the focus of the video. Our assignment was to make a tutorial for non-technical users and I believe preboot execution environments are a bit over the head of you average PC user.
Not that I should reasonably expect the average PC user to backup their computer at all really, but I least I tried to make it clear for them.

Going to have to agree with NINDeejay here… I used Acronis exactly as described in this video (it was for a class project after all) and it worked fine. PEBCAC error maybe??

I think it get u back to where u had Backed up ur Comp so if u format ur Comp & Back itup thats where it will take u
