I Have Windows Vista And Xp Problem?

Submitted by admin on October 24, 2009 – 1:05 am2 Comments

so i just partitioned my harddrive and installed xp on one of the drives. I have vista on another. I am having problems getting all my drivers on xp, mostly my wireless card and ethernet ones. Is there a way to just get my drivers from vista and put them on xp?

You cannot move them. Drivers for XP are incompatible with Vista, because of the differing OS kernels in each. You will need to surf over to the manufacturer’s website and manually download the drivers. Now, you can do this in Vista, and then just save the file to the XP partition, that way when you boot into XP, you can run the driver installer file.
