Does the Magic Flash Drive work from anywhere?
Yes, Remote Restore/Magic Flash Drive works from anywhere with an Internet connection. If you do not have an Internet connection and you have your Magic Flash Drive with you, we can still help you by telephone toll free with the tech utilities that come pre-loaded on your Magic Drive.
How do I register my Magic Flash Drive?
Plug in and open the Magic Drive. Then Click on FIX MY PC NOW button and you will be prompted to type in your information as well as the license number and password provided. Once completed you will have instant access to one of our USA technicians during normal business hours
I registered my Magic Flash Drive, Now what?
Now you are ready to utilize our Remote Restore service. Just click on the FIX MY PC NOW button let our technicians fix your computer problems for you. You can also take advantage of the free software resource library.
Can I use the Magic Flash Drive on more than one computer?
NO, Each flash drive is registered per computer and can only be used for that computer. If you have more than one computer, you can purchase additional flash drives and register them to each additional computer.
What If I buy a new computer and still have time left on my 1 year subscription?
We will be happy to transfer the service from your old computer to the new computer. You will need to send back the old Magic Drive and we will send you a new one.
What is Remote Restore?
Remote restore is an interactive online service whereby a computer technician remotely fixes your computer through the Internet. “We fix your computer online in real-time”.
How long does it take to activate my account?
Once you receive your Magic Flash Drive and register it you are activated immediately.
Can I get immediate support once I activate my account?
Yes, once your account is activated you can request a Remote Restore session by logging on and a technician will assist you within minutes during normal business hours.
Is remote restore safe and secure?
Yes, it is completely safe and secure. Remote Restore utilizes secure-communication architecture. Uses industry-standard SSL and 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption. Approved by the U.S. Government National Security Agency.
Can your technician access my computer again at a later date?
No. The connection to Remote Restore must be initiated by you the customer. When we access your computer, a temporary program is installed to allow us to remotely fix any problem and is completely removed once the session is closed. You have complete control every step of the way.

The Magic Drive does not support Apple at this time.
Does the Magic Flash Drive/Remote Restore include any software training?
No. the Magic Drive/Remote Restore does not include software training. Remote Restore is an online computer repair service designed to get you back up and running fast. We can help you with computer problems such as: e-mail problems, viruses, printer problems, network set up and security, slow running computer, and more… Online software training is available on a case by case basis at an hourly billable rate of $75.00 per hour.

Our technicians are U.S.A. technicians and have various industry certifications such as Microsoft, A+, MCP, MCSE, and more.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes, as a Remote Restore member, you have unlimited access to the service and therefore if a problem persists or re-occurs, we will work with you to resolve it to your satisfaction.
Can you send a technician to my house or office to repair more complex problems or for computer upgrades?
Yes, you do have the option of having a certified technician come to your home or office anywhere in the Continental United States at a flat labor rate of $175.00 in most cases.
How long will it take for a technician come to my home or office?
We will guarantee a 48 hour response time, however more often than not we will be there within 24 hours.
Does my service expire after 1 year?
Yes, the Magic Flash Drive gives you a 1 year membership to Remote Restore at which time your membership will expire, however you will be prompted to renew your subscription within 30 days of your anniversary date. You simply click on the renew my subscription link and follow the renewal process.
