Scan for ALL malware: virus, worm, ad, spy, rootkey. Something is on there, taking up processor time.
If you have an Internet connection then log onto
http://www.SpeedItUpFREE.com
Download all softwares
Try it!!
Your speed will be increased.
you can update the driver of your video card for faster graphics…and also you can lessen your startup programs…click start>run>type”msconfig” on the “startup”tab disable the unnecessary programs so that your computer wont run it on the starting of windows…dont worry this wont delete anything…it will quicken starting windows…this is very helpful…
See below guide:
u have got a good configuration..so chill…1st of all remember the thing tht makes ur computer ” fast or slow ” is primary memory or RAM.so keep as much as u can available for other process n dnt waste it uninstall unncessary programs …avoid using skins, themes, boot screens , icons except those come with windows. as these things take a lot of memory. remove programs frm startup.remove unnecessary programs frm taskbar.as these r active processes tht consume ur RAM. get a gud antivirus ,this will definitely slower ur system but the advantages r bigger.keep ur system virus free. update ur drivers as thy come time to time with bug-fixes n patches tht adds to their functionality.defragment ur hard disk whn u copy/delete big size if data,
u can do all these things with system mechanic pro.. iam using sys mechanic pro 6..my system is working fine since i installed it.. it takes care of the total system. like fragments, registry errors, comes with a built in antivirus, anti spam, program, have a look at the demo program..
You can try System Mechanic. It’s a great software
Most computer users have been trained that if you want more speed for your computer, then add more memory. Well, this is true, in certain circumstances. But for most of the times, it really is just bad files in your registry files. Corrupted or missing registry files can make your computer too slow.
Any time you make a change to any of your computers settings and surfing online, they are stored and updated in the registry.Over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions and full of junk and errors. So if you run a program,it will take a long time to required registry file and sometime it cant find its registry files since regsitry errors and then it has to sit there. So your computer will slow or freezing.
To speed up your computer, you need to fix your registry files. And I guarantee you have errors in the registry files that cause computer slow.Fixing these errors will dramatically increase the speed of your computer.Sometimes can up to 300% or more! All you need to do is run a registry repair software called registry cleaner, and get your Windows registry cleaned up and optimized. Registry cleaner not only can clean registry files, registry errors, but also can clean temp files, history and other disk junk. You will no longer have a slow computer.
Now you can check out http://www.computerspeed.info/index.php?… ,there are reviews of top rated registry cleaners and a clear guide to tell you how to speed up your computer. And from there you also can get a free scan to fix any problems such as computers slow, computer freezing, computer errors and getting the blue death screen.
Hope that can help you.
I use a program called CCLeaner, its a free download that cleans out all your temp files and other things that do not need to be on your computer. Also I would check online with a online speed test to see if the internet has just slowed down if the games you are playing are online. Finally make sure you are closing anything in your system tray that is not needed, programs like limewire and any torrent will drag your system to a screeching halt.
Try CCleaner to clean off junk; check out a registry cleaner like Eusing Free Registry Cleaner. Get a spyware cleaner. Do a defrag. Learn about unnecesary programs at startup and turn them off through msconfig. If that doesn’t help, try upgrading the graphics card to at least a 128mb.
